Welcome to Sutter, 2024-2025!

I’m Mr. Michael Fong, principal of Sutter. I’ve been serving the Sutter community for a decade plus as principal.   As Sutter’s instructional leader and site administrator,  I am often asked to summarize what Sutter School is?

To quickly summarize what Sutter School is:  It is  a place where we believe in teaching the whole child approach.  The whole child approach is making our students become well-rounded and healthy individuals.  Students are given a strong foundation in education and  life skills to help them reach their full potential.

We do this by honoring our core values, mission, and vision.  Please feel free to view our Sutter Foundational Document.

Besides teaching our students reading, writing, mathematics, science, art, physical education  and character education, we are a computer immersion school (teaching coding and programming lego robotics for students in K-5) and we have a strong indoor and outdoor science and grades 3-5 music program. 

We encourage parents to volunteer on our campus.  Please volunteer and support our classrooms. 

School begins on August 13th. Please view our bell schedule.
