Additional Information
The time each day from 8:15 a.m. to the first recess is very concentrated academic time, and will be used in all grades as a Literacy Block with a focus on teaching reading and writing. It is very important that all students arrive at school on time in the morning so as not to miss this important instruction. Efforts will be made to provide no interruptions to the classrooms during those hours.
If medical or dental appointments must be made during school hours, please schedule them in the afternoons whenever possible.
